San Jeronimo- Alberto Durero

based in a previous sketch/study for the famous paint of Albretch Dürer. In the final work, the painter, decided to represent the saint with his eyes opened and directing a deep sight to the viewer. This fact atracted me. What could have changed the mind's author? Personally, I prefer it with his eyes closed. I don't know, kind of meditative mood. 

basado en un boceto/estudio previo a lo que sería su cuadro final. Me llamó la atención que al final, Durero decidiera representarlo con los ojos  abiertos y viendo al espectador; Aquí quise dejarlo con los párpados cerrados , tiene un toque más meditativo que me encanta.
